The Boy Scouts of America developed the NOVA Awards to excite and expand a sense of wonder in our Scouts. The Boy Scouts of America's Nova Awards program incorporates learning with cool activities and exposure to science, technology, engineering and mathematics for Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Venturers. The hope is that the requirements and activities for earning these awards stimulates interest in STEM - related fields and shows how science, technology, engineering and mathematics apply to everyday living and the world around them.

Brookhaven National Laboratory is a US Government Facility and the following rules must be
adhered to:
* Dress Attire – Class “A” uniform for Scouts and Adult Scout Leaders
* Photo ID Requirements: US Citizens age 16 and over must bring photo identification.
* In order to meet youth protection requirements we need Scout Leaders to
participate (no cost) and be responsible to supervise all Scouts in the session they
are attending.
* Once registered there will be no substitution of Scouts allowed.

will receive a confirmation email from the council which will include information about payment and
directions for the day.
